Bhanu (Bhanuprakash) founded Bhanexus on a simple conviction: control software that people depend on should be engineered with the same rigour whether it flies, drives or charges. He currently leads DO-178C airborne software certification as a chief software engineer in the UK defence sector, after a career delivering production control software at Bosch, GE, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover and Fortescue Zero.
At Bhanexus he leads the design and build of the company’s uncrewed aircraft, starting with the ISR VTOL, alongside the control library products and engineering services.
Designing and building the ISR VTOL, the company’s flagship uncrewed aircraft, alongside PDU and BMS control libraries and safety-critical engineering services.
Leads DO-178C software certification on an avionics programme: certification planning, software maturity reviews, engineering team leadership, and customer and authority engagement. Tool qualification (DO-330), model-based development (DO-331) and multicore platforms.
Set up the high-voltage BMS and power distribution software teams from scratch and delivered the first PDC to a customer in January 2025. Led ASPICE and AUTOSAR adoption across UK and Australian teams, with 12+ direct reports.
Built the hybrid EU6d+, BEV predictive and ADAS motion control teams (50+ engineers). Delivered ADAS arbitration between the NVIDIA Orin platform and vehicle actuators. Seven patents.

Every major aerospace and automotive programme struggles to find engineers who can do the whole job: write the requirements, build the model, generate the code, verify it and produce evidence an assessor will accept. Bhanu has seen that gap across six employers in sixteen years.
